The Point is a channel for Sunshine Coast (and surrounding areas) musicians and bands to communicate with other bands, musicians & music lovers.
The Point has been developed due to the frustration at the lack of community between Sunshine Coast bands & musicians that was present in the late 90’s to early 00’s. Too long has the community been divided due to genres & trends, and the lack of support has flowed onto the audiences.
Our Mission - to bring everyone back together, to make the Sunshine Coast music scene the musical juggernaut it has the potential to be.
This website acts as a band database, combining all the basic elements of a band's myspace in easy to navigate, grouped areas. The Point is accessed by booking agents, venues, and other bands looking for support bands etc.
