Sunshine Coast Invasion - Tranzluzid, Rob Stanley, Morning Gloree and Levic (Bris), Stepp Inn, March 4

Morning Gloree
These guys sounded great through the Step Inn's pa system. Nice and fat. Awesome original surfer punk songs and a few covers made this four piece of youngsters a bouncing ball of energy, great fun. They sounded a lot tighter than the last time I saw them, probably due to a good mix on stage.

Rob Stanley
I made a few mistakes, none that were too obvious (I hope). My new rig sounded great on stage, every time I chugged a low B, the floor shook. Oh yeah!!! We all had to cut our sets short by 15mins, (poor attendance) so I finished up with Lasagne Man McShreddy Fingers. Got a lot of kind comments from people afterwards, so I must be doing something right.

Levic
I hadn't heard of these guys before. Cool original sound. Sort of modern alternative rock??? Lots of delay effects, nice melodic guitar playing and syncopated rhythms gave this set a bit of a trippy feel to it. Awesome drummer too btw. Hope to see them again.

Trazluzid
I saw these guys at The Point party last year doing a short acoustic set. It was great to see them play as a full band. Sounded bloody awesome. Rose has a great stage presence and is a great performer. Backed up by a solid band, the whole thing works beautifully. Nice to see (or should I say hear) keyboards being used as well to add another colour to the sound. See you again soon guys!
