It's Lions Park Noosa Heads and the weather has cleared up. I've come down to support the young fellas, Morning Gloree.
There's a good atmosphere and the boys kick off at 6:30pm and play a good solid half hour set supporting Max Judo.
I'm digging the PA set up which showcases their sound and musical abilities. There's a reasonable turnout that have come to support the boys, with a larger crowd than headliner Max Judo. Inside the tent there's approximately 60 people, with many more outside taking in the tunes. The crowd reaction is really good, with people getting up to dance and many people blown away by their talent. The patrons and event organisers were wrapped with the performance put up by the boys and Max Judo offers loads of encouragement and support to the young act.
The boys' old school surf punk/alternative rock style was ideal for the event, offering an array of originals and covers that music lovers of any genre could enjoy. They played tight and finished off the set with their version of “Wipeout” which was recieved well by all. If they keep churning out gigs like this, they have a really bright future in the music industry. Looking forward to the next one...
