Another interesting night at the Rolling Rock with a very different line up of bands and genre.
Forms Of Recreation were up first, with the three-piece original band featuring Doug on lead vox and guitar, Yvette on bass
and vox and Andrea on drums and vox. These guys
worked really well together musically, and vocally as a three-piece their style of music was very cruisey and laid back but with some punch in it aswell. Doug has a really diverse range in his vocals and it was a real pleasure to listen to him then with the blend of Yvette and Andrea backing up, their was some reall nice harmonies happening, well done guys it was a plesure listening to you.
Next was Tranzluzid followed by Navaho Joe.
Navaho Joe is a three-piece covers band with Jase on lead vox and guitar, Braydz on drums and vox, and Matt on bass and vox. Their set list ranged from Wolfmother to Nirvana with a number of other grunge covers. They had a really cool look with the way they dressed, their stage presence was pumpin' and their musicianship was very in sync. These guys really rocked it out and were a crowd pleaser so well done guys. And once again thanks to mick from M.I.A entertainment for the great work he is doing. Till then and all the best for 2010 everyone.
