Myrtle Place

Punk

Myrtle Place is a punk band raising from the Sunshine Coast. The band has been rocking together since late October of 2009.

In that time, the band has maintained it original line up except original bass', spook leaving in march 2010, with Matt g-string taking his spot till December of 2010. The position has now been filled by Jace kk. The music produced by the band is typical punk rock, loud fast drums, powerful guitar rifts, rhythmic bass and screeching vocals.

The band has number of influences in range of genre and and styles but have a great connection to the likes of the Clash, Rancid, anti-flag and have their roots planted in the local punk scene of their how town and and surrounding areas. The band hopes to play with as many bands as possible and are planning future tours Australia wide and with hopes to tour internationally.
