Unofficials - a distinctive and resonant sound. Formed in 2009, the three piece band boast a colourful line up.
Each individual member merges both unique musical and cultural backgrounds, creating a psychedelic blues/rock style.
At the core, comes Davey Romain (Lead Guitar/Vocals) playing a Strat & Frankenstein Les Paul, heavily influenced by the likes of Hendrix, Morello and Page. Creating the chief vibe associate with the act, Romain evokes technical harmonies with tasty riffs.
Playing bass and also on vocals is Ryan Mic, a lover of the Brit-Pop era, Celtic-Punk and 60's rock. Ryan's a songwriter heavily influenced by the work of Shane MacGowan, Bobby Gillespie and Jim and William Reid.
On drums: James Brown. With drumming style influenced by Rick Edwards, Danny Carey and Mike Portnoy, James becomes the backbone of what the group have become.
An EP in the works and a hunger for more gigs, the band wish to establish themselves in the upcoming year.
