Bringing together a fusion of sounds to create melodic, progressive Hard Rock, Technical Symplicity have been together in various forms since 2004.
The current and most solid line-up yet produce hard-hitting, addictive songs, and has developed a sturdy fan-base over the past 2 years.
The four-piece have been pushing their debut EP, ‘Orbit’ which was produced by Azriel Kerwin from Light of Day Productions in Coolum, and mastered by Matthew Grey (Butterfingers, Repeat Offender, Jet, Powderfinger). The two main singles from the EP, White Rose Wednesday and Eye for an Eye have gained them plenty of attention and has made Technical Symplicity one of the go-to bands on the Sunshine Coast.
Using life experiences to fuel their creativity, the band also fuel all of their influences such as Melodyssey, The Butterfly Effect, Japunga, Karnivool, Muse, Tool and Incubus into their sound, as well as helping to push each one of these musicians further in creating a unique sound.
The band will be heading back into the studio shortly with producer Clint Vincent (Melodyssey) to record a follow-up to ‘Orbit’, and to push their sound even further.
Technical Symplicity have played with the following bands:
Dead Letter Circus, Mammal, Melodyssey, MM9, Rook, OP25, Helm, King Mungi, Epidemic...Over, This Collision, Chin, Ablaze Withsin, and heaps more.
