Rats Natas is a 5 piece rock/punk band on the sunshine coast, whose influence comes mainly from lying, cheating and blatantly sleeping around with the female population. Other then that it comes from the bands they listen too. Their sound covers a diverse range of genres, and a lot of originality.
The band started in early October with the members Philthy Phil and Lockness who, on the odd occasion would muck around riffs. Soon after they realised they would require drums to further improve the sound of Rats Natas.
A homeless man by the name of ShanzRiz was found on the street busking for money. Rats Natas noticed this lads talent for drums and was instantly recruited to the band. Soon after a further guitarist was introduced to the band but his stay at Rats Natas was cut short due to personal reasons.
In early November Rats Natas realised they would need a bass guitarist but found themselves stumped in the search. Philthy Phil decided to purchase a bass guitar so he could sing and play bass at the same time but this did not work out as he lacked the skill to multi-task. A friend of the band Jacky 6 had played guitar before but as Rats Natas knew they didnt need another guitarist so they asked him to try a bass guitar. As soon as he picked it up he played an epic bass riff and was recruited into Rats Natas.
