ALWAYS LOOKING FOR MORE LOCAL BANDS OF ALL GENRE
M.I.A.entertainment was formed in 2008 when it became apparent how hard it was for bands on the Sunshine Coast to get exposure to both bigger cities and to the public.
At that time i had met a band called Rise From The Ashes a local band in Noosa .A great bunch of blokes doing what they loved to do - PLAY MUSIC - from that moment i tried to help them with getting their first recording which resulted in their EP.
Three members have left since to be replaced with three new ones forming INHAILED and im glad to say with a bit of help from M.I.A.entertainment they are know playing shows regulary on the coast and Brissy.
M.I.A.entertainment is about helping up and coming bands putting shows on at any venue that i can get my hands on .Ive had bands play for me from the Sunny Coast ,Brisbane,Sydney and Melbourne and there is always a mix so to give everyone the exposure they so rightly deserve.
Ive seen first hand the time ,effort and money bands put into their music and now i have a chance to show them that we do appreciate their efforts in entertaining us by giving them shows and paying them to do so and hopefully increase their Fanbase.
For all those that think I,m in it for the money think again... I'm in it for the music and to give everyone a chance. I dont care what genre you are ,what you look like or how you smell, if you're in a band or even a solo artist and want to play in one of my shows drop me a line. That's all it takes.
