I am 20 years of age and live on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. My passion is songwriting and performing my originals whenever I can. I play acoustic guitar and piano (and now ukulele!) and love to perform. While doing year 12, and a Certificate III in Music Performance (CUS30101), I recorded my debut album.
The Music
I have been writing songs since the age of 13 and have been told my lyrics are beyond my years. I have written over 50 songs and regularly perform around 35 of them. I have written many well received songs since the album and I am currently recording my second album (to be released in the second half on 2010).
The Album
The album “I’m Not You” was professionally recorded and mixed at “The Grove Studio” (Missy Higgins, Eskimo Joe). This compilation of 12 original songs features Ian Moss (Cold Chisel) on two of the tracks, and I’ve been selling my CD at gigs and through my website HYPERLINK "http://www.lucyhannah.com" www.lucyhannah.com and have sold around 400 copies so far.
On the album I play guitar, piano and synthesized strings, as well as all vocals.
