Kindread are a unique group that have created a fresh new hybrid sounding performance that combiens a fusion of roots/funk/reggae with elements of contemporized Dub crossed with percussion-driven tribal beats layered on a bed of electronic ambiance, captivating harmonies and catchy melodies. Kindread’s live performance embraces a ballad aura soaring into an uplifting energy guaranteed to get any dance floor pumping.
Kindread have been working hard the last few years to build their fan base, performing non-stop to capacity crowds at venues and major festivals such as Caloundra Music Festival, uTribe & The Great Noosa Campout.
The band have recently finished recording a full-length album, ‘Free World’ which they worked with world-class mastering engineer Leon Zervos (Muse, INXS, Santana, Crowded House & many more). The band are about to hit the road with a massive string of shows to promote the ‘Free World’ release. This release is set to be big, and the international touring is where they have their sights set to promote this fresh new sound that is Kindread.
